Generosity Is The Way Offering

We believe that generosity is truly the way of those who call Christ their Lord. During our series ‘First Fruits’ we learned that the tithe was something given to God, but it was also for the community and the poor to be taken care of.

So, out of the generosity God shows us, we gave back to you. In worship on Sunday, February 8th, we gave out envelopes with cash ranging from $10 to $100 bills. Here’s how we ask you to use it:

1.    If you are in true need today, then the cash is for you. Please use it how you see fit. God sees you.

2.   If your needs are met, then ask God to lead you this week as to how to give the cash away. Keep your envelope close and be looking for a way to bless someone with generosity. You might offer to pay for someone’s gas or cover the person behind you in the drive-thru. Give it to a stranger or a ministry or a dear friend who needs some coffee & encouragement.

3.   Then, we would love to hear the story of what God did through you. Who did you give it to? What happened? Did you add any extra to it? What impact did this experience have on you?*
